What is uric acid

Under normal circumstances, the body's uric acid is about 1200 mg, about 600 mg new every day, while excreting 600 mg, in a balanced state. However, if the body produces too much to be excreted or the uric acid excretion mechanism is degraded, the body's uric acid retention is excessive. When the blood uric acid concentration is greater than 7 mg / deciliter, the body fluid becomes sour, affecting the normal function of the human cells, and long-term disregard will cause gout. In addition, too tired or insufficient rest can lead to relatively slow metabolism leading to the onset of gout.
The blood uric acid is completely filtered from the glomerulus, 98% of which is secreted into the glomerular cavity in the middle of the proximal convoluted tubule, and then 50% of the reabsorbed uric acid is secreted into the renal tubule in the middle of the proximal convoluted tubule. In the straight section of the proximal convoluted tubule, 40% to 44% are reabsorbed, and only 6% to 10% of uric acid is discharged. The production and excretion rate of uric acid in a normal person is basically constant. Changes in uric acid content in body fluids can fully reflect the state of metabolism, immunity and other functions in the human body.
First, avoid eating sorghum foods such as viscera, high fructose grain syrup drinks (such as soft drinks, juice) or food. Limit the intake of food such as cows, sheep, pork, and oyster-rich seafood, and limit the consumption of natural fruit juices, sugar, desserts, and salt (including soy sauce and seasonings). Eat low-fat or fat-free foods and vegetables. Drink more water, stop smoking and limit alcohol. Daily tea consumption ensures that the urine volume is above 1500ml/d, preferably >2000ml/d. At the same time, it is recommended to quit smoking, ban beer and liquor, such as drinking red wine should be appropriate, patients with episodes or advanced gout should be strictly prohibited. Stick to exercise and control weight. For moderate-intensity exercise for more than 30 minutes per day, obese people should lose weight and control their body weight within the normal range.
There are four main reasons for the accumulation of uric acid: the first is excessive consumption of sorghum food; the second is the problem of sputum metabolism in the body; the third is too little excretion; the fourth is that uric acid cannot be excreted normally.
